Floating homes at Havenloft Nassauhaven in Rotterdam, Netherlands
The main challenge of this project was the tidal water level in Nassauhaven. The floating homes rise and fall continuously with the tides. This poses unique technical challenges for generating energy from the water and installing the water heat exchangers.
To ensure a stable and efficient supply, several of the Havenloft units were each equipped with a ThermoGenius™ Water M or ThermoGenius™ Water F in combination with a heat pump. Thanks to an intelligent, flexibly designed installation, the ThermoGenius™ moves in sync with the house and ensures the required output at all times, even with fluctuating water levels.
